An experienced photographer, who has succeeded in many fields of photography. As a youngster, he worked for daily newspapers, back in the days when several assignments had to be squeezed onto 36 exposures of film. His photo journalistic roots, now allow him to work, quickly and effectively. With his trained creativity, ability to improvise and adapt, he always achieves the desired results even when working under difficult conditions.
He likes to explore the unknown and seek out new challenges, while never taking shortcuts.
He is excellent with light and is not limited by the technical aspects of photography. He believes that perfect craftsmanship is only the beginning.
He is able to work according to a brief, but often allows things to happen spontaneously even in the most well thought-out productions. As a result, his photographs are true, and the situations they portray seem real, even if they are not.
On a private level, he devotes a lot of time to sport. Martial arts, running, weightlifting, swimming, enduro biking and freeride skiing. He is constantly on the move. Probably this is what makes photography with sport and activity in the background work out so well for him. He knows the movement, he knows the emotion, he knows where to focus in order to draw the viewer into the action.
He feels comfortable taking portraits. Thanks to his openness, he often establishes a bond while photographing, which makes the feeling of artifice and embarrassment disappear. He takes the same approach to the famous and celebrities as he does to the ordinary.
He is certain that photographs shouldn't be pretty, but intriguing and interesting, although he is capable to capture the pretty ones as well.
Characteristic of his work, is the conscious use of light, strong graphic composition and an excellent sense of colour. He practices his way of seeing almost every day because he rarely partes with his camera.
He has won several Grand Press Photo awards and other competitions of a similar rank. With the APP collective, he was nominated for the Passporty Polityki award of Polityka magazine and the Spojrzenia award at the Zachęta gallery in Warsaw.
He regularly portrays business people for Forbes. He has also published in other magazines and weeklies including, Newsweek, Twój Styl, My Company, Wprost, K-Mag, Kids Magazine.
He has carried out assignments for big brands such as Tyskie, Lech, Fielmann, Porsche, FM Logistic, Browar Namysłów, HP Inc. Decathlon, Deutsche Gramophone, PPG, Amica.
At the invitation of IBM Reaserch, he shot a series of portraits of scientists working on AI in New York.
His cheerful personality and approachable nature make him a pleasure to work with.
